32-year-old Bouras Adele, who lives in Attard, admitted he had threatened, insulted, assaulted and injured the two police officers, Mahmoud El-Saadi Giuma and another person at about 10.15pm last Wednesday at City Gate, Valletta.

Adele also admitted breaching the peace and being in possession of the penknife.

The court was presided over by magistrate Antonio Mizzi. Inspector Ramon Mercieca prosecuted while Dr Stefano Filletti appeared for the accused.
