Mrs Piscopo, whose husband Carmelo died 27 years ago, lived in Floriana all her life. She had six children, two of whom died in
infancy.
On her 100th birthday two years ago, she received visits from the then President, Guido de Marco, and the then prime minister Eddie Fenech Adami.
Her funeral will be held this morning
