The seminar marks the first anniversary of the Speech Language Department in Luqa. The main speakers at the seminar, held under the auspices of Primary Health Care director Andrew Amato Gauci, were Kirsten Thyme-Frøkjaer and Borge Frøkjaer-Jensen, from the Danish Voice Institute for the Treatment and Education in Speech and Voice.

“It is important that speech pathologists keep offering the high level of service that clients have received so far,” said Department Manager Rita Micallef. In her address, she also reminded those present that this was in line with the department’s mission.
