Speaking at the launch of the agency, Information Technology and Investment Minister Austin Gatt said that Malta is honoured to have been chosen as the Mediterranean hub of the Chinese.
“Since its first ship sailed into the Freeport last July, China Shipping has become Malta’s second largest client and the fastest growing partner in transhipment,” said Dr Gatt. “We are pleased that the Chinese have continued to nurture their business in the Mediterranean.”
