Carmel Vellawas also charged with holding the boy, whose name cannot be published due to a court order, against his will and forcing him to perform immoral acts.
The court was presided over by magistrate Saviour Demicoli. Inspector Louise Calleja prosecuted while Dr Jason Azzopardi and Dr Kris Busietta appeared for the accused.
