During the four days of the fair, Air Malta’s Chairman Lawrence Zammit and Chief Operating Officer Joe Cappello toured the stands and exchanged views with the local and foreign travel exhibitors.

After the fair, Group Head Marketing and PR, John Saliba said: “Air Malta, as organiser and participant, was very pleased with the results achieved during Amitex. We received very positive and encouraging comments from the local and foreign exhibitors at the fair. Travel agents have also expressed their satisfaction at the number of requests and bookings they received.”

Mr Saliba added: “We are very grateful to all participants and the public who, through their support, has again shown that Amitex is now established as one of the most important specialised fairs on the island and a much-awaited event.”
