Ten Minis, decorated with roof flags representing the new countries along with a European Mini, showing the EU flag, will celebrate into the accession night to welcome the joining countries.
The decorated Minis can be seen in Brussels city centre on 30 April and 1 May at the Place de Luxembourg, Place de la Monnaie and at the so-called “Mini Europe”, where European sights can be viewed in a miniature format. Representatives from the new EU countries will be sitting behind the steering wheels of the four-wheeled European ambassadors.
Following on from the roadshow in Brussels, the minis will set off on a journey to their respective countries where they will be on display at more events to communicate the fact that the Mini is classless, international and knows no boundaries – in every respect.
Further information concerning the EU roadshow and high-resolution picture material can be found in the BMW Group Press Club www.press.bmwgroup.com.
