It wishes to clarify that the employee mentioned in the report as “working in a BirdLife Malta nature reserve” is, in fact, one of several government-employed watchmen inherited from the previous administration of the reserves when BirdLife Malta took over their management from the government. This employee is posted outside the reserve and is in no way connected to the reserve’s actual management.
