The European Youth Portal has been developed as a direct result of the European Commission’s 2001 white paper A new impetus for European youth. This launch will also give the commissioner an opportunity to review progress of her action for young people since the white paper was published.

The Internet chat will take place on Wednesday 26 May from 1pm to 3pm in all 20 official EU languages, a first for the commission. It will focus on the opportunities that exist for young people to be mobile and have a voice in an ever-changing Europe.

The European Youth Portal Team is inviting the young people of Malta to take part in this live chat with Commissioner Reding. She will do her best to answer as many questions as possible within the allotted time.
