Mr Borg has had experience as a planning officer at

the authority. He worked for the Malta Development Corporation for a number

of years and was recently

seconded with Malta industrial Parks Ltd.

For two years he was a member of the Development Control Commission and for the last year he sat on the Planning Appeals Board.

He was also a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Malta.

He will be assuming his duties as from tomorrow, and will be responsible for a broad range of functions arising from the Development Planning Act.
