The Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort opened its doors to the first guests on 9 May 1997 and in line with the Group’s policy of keeping all products looking new and fresh, the decision was taken to invest just over Lm1 million in this refurbishment project.
The focus is centred on elegance and comfort, as well as respect for the environment. Local company Design Source, represented by Carlo Schembri, has designed all new rooms. Created to portray a fresh and warm atmosphere, they have been remodelled keeping in mind the standards of both the guest and the EU.
Guests experiencing the newly-refurbished rooms will enter a world of reds and cream which give the surroundings an overwhelmingly relaxed feel. Natural cherry-wood furnishings and parquet flooring have been carefully selected to help guests work or relax in comfort and reactions from guests patronising the Resort have been excellent.
“Through improved room comfort we hope to deliver a better product to our guests and meet their needs fully to ensure 100 per cent guest satisfaction at all times.” said Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort general manager Raphael Cauchi. He added that 150 rooms have already been completed and the rest will be finished by the end of October 2004.
“It is only by renovating your product and continually offering a package that exceeds guest expectations that you can outperform the market in the long run. By renovating the rooms at the Resort we are ensuring that we retain the excellent reputation that we enjoy with our guests”, concluded Mr Cauchi.
