Six Graduate in management from the University of Leicester

Professor Robert Burgess, vice-chancellor of the University of Leicester presented the students with their respective certificates.

Mr Antonello Cappitta, director of courses at European Institute of Education, accompanied the students to Leicester and organised a celebration dinner at a prominent hotel in Leicester, which was attended by all the students and their respective guests who celebrated their achievements.

The Leicester MBA is internationally accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), which is the most important accreditation body for universities and business schools running MBA programmes worldwide. University of Leicester awards are locally recognised by the University of Malta and the government and students studying from Malta are awarded the same awards which are given to full-time Leicester campus students.

Julie Grech (credit risk analyst – Bank of Valletta plc) graduated MSc finance.

Charles Cilia (assistant director of education for development – Education Division), graduated master of business administration (marketing).

Adrian Azzopardi (quality assurance manager – Amino Chemicals Ltd), graduated master of business administration (total quality management).

David Mallia (chief accountant – Portman International Ltd), and Gian Carlo Millo (accountant – Portman International Ltd) graduated master of business administration (finance).

Alan Grima (coordinator, eStrategy – Ministry for the Family and Social Solidarity) (in absentia) graduated master of business administration (information technology management).
