Malta Independent Wednesday, 28 July 2004, 00:00 Last update: about 22 years ago

Mr Hodgson said it was a pleasure for him to be in Malta to play for Maltese people next weekend. He said the warmth and friendliness of the Maltese people was the first thing that struck him as soon as he set foot in Malta. This, he said, will make this event an even more memorable one. When asked he said that during the concert he will be playing various songs – both old and new.

Meanwhile, organiser Lou Bondi said tickets for the centre were selling fast and appealed for people to hurry in order to avoid disappointment. Mr Bondi said tickets are available in Gozo from the Arcadia Complex while Exotique outlets are selling tickets in Malta. Another artist, Steve Hackett, who will also be performing at the festival, is expected to arrive tomorrow.
