Tourism and Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech yesterday visited Manoel Island, where the festival is being held.

He praised the organisers for their endeavours to hold such an event which will see the participation of a number of foreign musicians, including Roger Hodgson of the Supertramps fame, Marillon Fish and Steve Hackett and his band. The event will also see the participation of local bands Winter Moods and Beangrowers.

said similar events were instrumental to give the visiting tourists that extra experience which would urge them to visit Malta again.
