A total of 27 soldiers of various ranks from the 2nd Regiment attended two courses as part of a health and safety programme at their place of work. Two exhibitions on the effects of substance abuse were held at the Maritime Squadron and the Air Squadron.

Another course was held for 16 soldiers of 3rd Regiment’s Revenue Security Corps. Exhibitions were also set up Safi Barracks and at Luqa Barracks. These events are held as part of the Substance Abuse Free Employees (SAFE) programme, which also aims to raise awareness of Sedqa’s services. Excellent feedback from the participants was received and all participants were presented with a certificate of participation.

The courses were coordinated by Major Claudio Spiteri and Captain Philip Mifsud with Sedqa’s Josianne Azzopardi.
