The 17-year-old was evacuated at about 2.30pm in an AFM Alouette III helicopter piloted by Captain A.
Gauci. It is understood that she had jumped into the water from a considerable height and injured her back. She was winched aboard the helicopter and transported to St Luke’s Hospital for treatment.
