A number of popular rock bands are teaming up with Life Cycle to raise funds for the Renal Unit at St Luke’s Hospital and also to make people more aware of the challenges that the cyclists have to face to help others. With the help of the local bands’ popularity, this can be achieved.

Screamdaisy, Scar, Stilair, The Myth, Hiddensun, Ira Losco and Fiona are among the many artists who will be singing at this event. The concert will be held on Sunday, 8 August at Blues Room, close to the Empire Cinemas in Bugibba.

The organisation’s cycling challenge this year will see 32 participants cycling 1,700 kilometres from France to Madrid. This challenge will take place over eight days, from 31 August to 9 September. The cyclists will be accompanied by an 18 strong back-up team which will include cooks, doctors, physiotherapists and nurses.
