The dog was found in a back street near Liceo Mikiel Anton Vassalli.
“I don’t know if the dog was burnt alive or not, but it’s certainly not something to do on the pavement. It seemed to have been planned since there was a can beside the dog which could have contained flammable liquid,” said Ms Spiteri.
