Mr Abela also referred to several complaints about the increase in the price of uniforms. He appealed to schools to not change their uniforms unnecessarily as this led to extra expense that families could do without. He added that government should also make sure there is no abuse because of a lack of competition in the selling of uniforms or the material for such uniforms.
