In a statement, Malta Labour Party spokesman Marie Louise Coleiro said that disabled people who make use of this service will suffer the consequences of it being suspended, because they will have to make alternative arrangements that would prove costly.

She added that it was not a plausible excuse that the service was being stopped in order for the foundation to save money when, at the same time, government was freely spending money on matters Ms Coleiro described as “of secondary importance”.
