This ongoing programme involves publications, audio/visual productions, educational campaigns with schools and local councils and similar activities.

After a call for expression of interest to sponsor or part-sponsor a car for the above services and for the Office of the CEO, the department has announced, “with pleasure”, a part-sponsorship deal of an Opel Meriva kindly sponsored by United Automobile Ltd.

The hospital administration has expressed its thanks to the chairman and board of directors of United Automobile Ltd, particularly director Ms Dolores Gatt Baldacchino and general manager Mario J.Grech.

Their particular thanks have been expressed to the company’s Mr Alan Gove who was much involved in the negotiations for this part-sponsorship.

The Information and Communications Department for Mater Dei, St Luke’s and Sir Paul Boffa Hospitals have also recently received a Dell laptop computer kindly donated by Intercomp Ltd and a Canon colour photocopier kindly donated by Avantech Ltd, both valued at around Lm7,000.
