The French ambassador, at a reception in her honour at his residence in Zebbug, spoke highly of her achievements in Malta. He presented her with some fine Maltese lace and a silver bracelet. Anne answered his speech with her usual grace and spoke in her well-bred English. We wish her well in her next placing in Paris.
