This is the first time the party leader will open the council, a duty that is usually left to the secretary-general. Dr Gonzi’s presentation will start at 6.35pm and will last a little over an hour. The session will continue with speeches by councillors and will end with an address by deputy Prime Minister Tonio Borg.

Tomorrow’s activities will focus on a number of workshops that will be held at the party’s offices, while the closing meeting will be held on Sunday, again at the San Gorg Corinthia.
