The Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business and the Self Employed, Edwin Vassallo, in collaboration with the Office of the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, will be organising an information meeting about the application of the eco-contribution in the commercial sector.

The main speakers at this meeting will be officials from the Department of VAT. The meeting is being held to ensure that all those persons who require information about the eco-contribution are given the opportunity to ask any relevant questions.

The meeting will also aim to answer any queries that traders may have about the collection of the eco-tax, about the procedures that will be used and the effect on different commercial sectors.

In preparation for this meeting, traders are also being given the opportunity to forward any questions they may have about the eco-contribution prior to the meeting. These questions may be sent to [email protected], or via fax on 21494813.
