United Automobile Ltd has launched the new Easy Pay Plan through which all those who purchase a new Opel car will be able to spread their payments over a period of six years, rather than the current five-year period.

This was announced by United Automobile Ltd managing director Edmund Gatt Baldacchino, who said: “Through our Easy Pay Plan, it is possible for the customer to pay lower monthly instalments for his or her

preferred Opel car.

“This means that while enjoying a brand new car with all its joys and benefits, Opel customers can go easy on their pocket.”

Details of United Automobile’s new Easy Pay Plan will be available at an open weekend being held at the company’s showroom in Abate Rigord Street, Ta’ Xbiex (tel. 2132-0560) from today until Monday. Throughout the open weekend, visitors will not only be able to find out more about United Automobile’s new Easy Pay Plan, but will also have the opportunity to view the whole range of Opel cars available.

These range from the Astra, which is available in five-door and estate versions, the ideal compact car the Opel Corsa, available in three-door or five-door versions with manual or automatic transmission, the more

family-oriented Zafira seven-seater or Meriva, and the executive Vectra, to sporty cars like the new Opel Tigra TwinTop as well as the Astra Cabrio. United Automobile Ltd are also offering the Opel Corsa in a panel van version, which is one of the most economic in its class and therefore an ideal vehicle for all types of enterprises.

Throughout the weekend, test drives will also be available on all Opel vehicles.

Visitors at the open weekend can consider United Automobile Ltd’s part-exchange offer and obtain a price on their present car.

The public will also have the opportunity to admire the new Opel Tigra TwinTop which is available at an unbeatable price for its category, starting at Lm9,990.

This car was launched at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, making Opel the first German volume manufacturer to offer a sporty two-seater with an electro-hydraulic, retractable steel roof that opens and closes automatically at the touch of a button in just 18 seconds.

The compact two-seater was elected Cabrio of the Year towards the end of 2004 by an international jury of car journalists and experts at its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show.

United Automobile Ltd’s open weekend will be open to the

public on Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Monday 24 January between 9am and 7pm.
