If the Hon. Minister for the Environment really wants to reduce the number of spent cartridges littering our countryside, let him make it illegal to use shotguns with more than two shots at one loading.

Five shot automatics must have their magazines partially but permanently blocked to that effect.

Putting a two cent tax on every

cartridge will get him nowhere.
