The Modelshop Court of the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club was the backdrop last Sunday to the presentation of trophies of the popular Perrier Junior Open Tournament organized by the club. The tournament was held under the auspices of the Malta Tennis Federation and was sponsored by Messrs Anthony Caruana & Sons Ltd., importers of Perrier Mineral Water. Ms Marisa Mintoff was the tournament director.

This year’s winners in the Boys’ Singles category were: Matthias Pecotic (U-16), Clayton Zammit (U-14), Malcolm Ferrante (U-12) and Jean Bernard Balzan (U-10). The under 12 Girls’s Singles was won by Kimberly Cassar and in the U/10 category Milena Music emerged the winner. The finals were all played on the Orienta Court of the VLTC.
