I refer to the two articles written by John Borg Bartolo (TMID 17 and 24 January), namely A lesson in public service broadcasting.

I would immediately like to thank Mr Borg Bartolo for sharing the very interesting information contained in both his articles. They were both very enlightening articles and, on my part, certainly educational.

An independent and autonomous PBS deserves no less than what the chairman of the BBC believes, namely – “a public broadcasting that delivers good programmes, that offers value to everyone and a public broadcasting which builds public values”.
