The federations enlisted for participation in the Andorra Small Nations Games have maintained their full support to the MOC in the current dispute with the Ministry of Education and the Maltese Council for Sport.

In a short statement after a lengthy meeting on Thursday night, they expressed their worries and the difficulties facing their federations and the uncertainties facing their athletes in their technical preparation for these Games.

The federations have requested the Executive Committee to try and find a permanent solution according to the Olympic Charter so that the athletes will be able to prepare properly for their participation in international competition. At the same time, these federations have also expressed their disapproval over the fact that officials of the MOC have been personally named ‘out of context’ in this issue.
