Louise Calleja may have not yet come across daily newspaper and on line advertising, as well as adverts on bus shelters all over the island that since Monday 24 January have advertised the fact that the Microsoft software package being offered to students and teachers is available online.

We regret the fact that Ms Calleja had not seen these adverts before. Indeed, the Microsoft software package can be ordered and paid on line from www.miti.gov.mt.

We take this opportunity to remind your readers that the Microsoft software package includes software retailing for some Lm780 for just Lm13.99. Maltese students and their teachers can order licensed copies of Microsoft Office Pro, Microsoft Encarta and Microsoft Visual Basic as well as obtain the Class Server Licence for the upcoming eLearning initiative from the website, as well as from any local council.

We thank Ms Calleja and the thousands of students who have already registered for a copy of this software for their interest in this initiative.
