The invasion of MLP supporters at Hal Far on 30 January sent a silent message to the government. It said: “we have all heard about the stars of the EU but you yourself did not manage to grasp even the most minute of stars”. For, as yet, in spite of the fact that Malta joined the EU, doom and gloom seem to be here to stay. The invasion at Hal Far was proof that the stars of the EU were only in the PN’s eyes, the reality is far, far different. No wonder the voice of the people was heard by their numerous presence at Hal Far.
