Following the recent sale of an AVRO RJ85 to the Bahrain Defence Force, Peregrine Aviation Leasing Company Limited, a subsidiary of Air Malta, has leased three more AVRO aircrafts.

Two RJ70 aircrafts have been leased to ULL14, an Austrian airline, which will operate the aircrafts on scheduled services between the Isle of Man and various airports in the UK.

The services will be marketed by EuroManx. The lease is for a period of two years but can be extended for a further one-year period. The aircrafts are being delivered to ULL14 towards the end of this month and in early March.

Another RJ70 aircraft has been leased to Transwede Airways AB, a Swedish airline. The aircraft will be operated on scheduled and charter services. The aircraft will be delivered to Transwede in early March.

Air Malta is currently negotiating the lease of two RJ85 aircrafts, and is actively marketing a remaining RJ70 aircraft.
