What a breath of fresh air! Marisa Micallef’s article (TMID 21 February), in the most part, is spot on. The feelings expressed are precisely what the ordinary PN voter feels.
The PN’s greatest asset is that there is no alternative. But that strategy is too risky. The ordinary PN voter, hurt and disillusioned as s/he might be, will not vote Labour because (1) of the past (if s/he is of a certain age, that is), and (2) as s/he cannot identify with the various MLP names, their leader in particular.
I admire Marisa for writing in the manner that she did and I applaud her. I trust that she will not be ostracised!
