I love it! Austin Gatt is demanding that Enemalta apologise for the gas cylinder fiasco (TMID 21 February). The way the minister talks, readers might be forgiven for not realising that Enemalta is state-owned company, with Austin Gatt’s ministry being ultimately responsible for its operation.

For those who were taken in by Dr Gatt’s hysterical rantings, they should be reminded that the current collection of PN administrators have been around for 18 years, with few exceptions.

They did not suddenly land from an alien planet the day before yesterday.

Austin Gatt has become a true master at exposing inadequacies in the way Malta is run, and then lambasting everyone except himself and the rest of the comic collection of politicians who run this country.

Unfortunately for Austin Gatt, and the rest of the ‘natural party of government’, not every voter in Malta has a brain the size of a sultana.
