Julian Pace Bonello, President of the Malta Tenpin Bowling Association, and vice-president of the Malta Olympic Committee, has just been confirmed President of the Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Federation for a further term of two years.

The Congress was attended by all Commonwealth nations that were present in Paphos, Cyprus for the Second Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championships: Australia, Bahamas, Canada, England, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, India, Malaysia, Malta, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Singapore and Wales.

Pace Bonello has held this post since the CTBF was created in 2002 and was previously the Chairperson for the Commonwealth Affairs Committee of the World Tenpin Bowling Association.

The main aim of the CTBF is to get Tenpin Bowling re-introduced as a sport within the Official Programme of the Commonwealth Games. In 2004, it was included in the Official Programme of the Second Commonwealth Youth Games held in Bendigo, Australia.
