In this season when we wish each other all the joy that the Lord Jesus came to bring to all people of good will, allow me to extend my greetings to you from Algeria. In this country where most of the population is Muslim, the people of good will are easy to find. Our sisters work with them to come to the help of those who are still traumatised after years of terrorist attacks. They help bring psychological relief to people who have greatly suffered. We also help women learn how to produce income-producing articles, which can be sold so that the family can live.

This year we have also had the joy of re-opening one of our communities which was closed for 10 years because of insecurity.

Our friends from the Mission Fund have yet again sent us a cheque to help us do this valuable work. We would like to thank all of you for your generous contributions that enable them to send us the money necessary to continue our work. Please continue sending them used stamps, used telecards and donations to help the Maltese missionaries in Third World countries.

May the Lord reward your generosity and your good work.
