With great dismay and disappointment I read the letter by Daniela Borg Mizzi, manager, Public Relations and marketing, Malta Transport Authority in reply to Mr G. Bezzina regarding works in Triq il-Granmastri. (TMIS, 27 February)

Once again Triq l-Ghassies

in Marsascala has not been included in the list of tenders issued for works to be carried

out on this fully developed residential street. Can Ms Borg Mizzi enlighten me and many other disappointed residents, what criteria are applied for works on the roads/streets to be carried out. It has now become almost impossible to leave our homes without encountering some hazard following the heavy rains we had this winter. This street is in a dire state, a danger zone. How much longer do we have to wait?

I hope Ms Borg Mizzi replies to my letter, as previous letters to persons concerned remained unanswered.
