A few days ago, I joined the Green Party supporters in Victoria and while walking around in the narrow streets of this old town we were freely distributing cloth shopping bags, emblazoned with the exhortation to “Think Green”. Not vote Green, I noticed, but “think” and, thus, by implication “act”.

For this is what Green politics is all about. If everybody thinks and acts Green on these islands and elsewhere – Gozo, Malta, Europe – the world would change for the better.

We would all recognise ourselves as grateful co-inhabitants of the Earth, living easily with all God’s creatures, respecting Life itself. But until this Earthly paradise returns, then you will have to vote Green for it is the only political party in Gozo and Malta with that vision.
