The HSBC Cares For Children Fund (HCCF) has presented a donation of Lm650 to cover the cost of purchasing 135 new chairs for the Cospicua Branch of the Society of Christian Doctrine (MUSEUM).

The fund’s chairwoman, Catherine Gonzi, presented the donation to MUSEUM Superior General Phyllis Falzon in the presence of the Cospicua archpriest, Fr Joe Mifsud, and the children who currently attend the Cospicua Branch of MUSEUM.

“MUSEUM plays an important role in the education of our children and it is important that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this experience in a comfortable environment. Although the local community in Cospicua helps the society as much possible, it is still difficult to raise the finances necessary to provide the children with the environment they deserve. The HSBC Cares For Children Fund was only too happy to step in and help,” said Mrs Gonzi.
