United Automobile Ltd Offers free visual check to Corsa owners

United Automobile Ltd (UAL) recently invited a number of Opel Corsa owners to its After Sales Service Centre in Lija for a free visual check of their vehicle. During this activity, owners also had the opportunity to meet Opel Corsa International Product Manager Claudio Kornmacher, to ask him any questions regarding the Corsa.

“UAL has always recognised the importance of keeping in touch with its customers. The free visual check event was an ideal opportunity for Corsa owners to visit us and to have their car inspected for free,” said UAL’s managing director Edmund Gatt Baldacchino.

He continued: “At the same time we also invited Claudio Kornmacher to come over from Opel headquarters in Germany so he could meet Maltese owners of the Corsa personally and answer any questions they might have.”

The Opel Corsa has been one of Opel’s most successful models, with well in excess of 11 million vehicles sold. This success has been due to six main factors: modern technology, attractive power trains, powerful engines, good fuel consumption – especially following the introduction of new twinport technology, safety as highlighted by the four stars obtained in the NCAP tests and the number of free flow options.

“I have met a lot of loyal customers who appreciate the quality of Opel vehicles. They trust in the product and in the Opel brand,” said Mr Kornmacher. “It was also a great opportunity to see United’s workshop in action. The centre is spacious, equipped with a high level of diagnostical tools and has a very well-equipped training workshop. Opel uses the facilities in Malta as a training centre for mechanics from Cyprus and North Africa,” Mr Kornmacher continued.

“The Opel Corsa remains a popular car in Malta, with its starting price of Lm4,990 including air conditioning, economical running costs and excellent performance. This quality product is backed up by UAL’s after-sales centre which, in the two years since opening, has already serviced more than 12,000 vehicles,” said Mr Gatt Baldacchino.

“As our Corsa owners know, this centre, apart from technical excellence, also provides access to a well-stocked modern warehouse to which parts are delivered on a weekly basis. The premises also house a training centre in order to ensure that employees are continuously updated with the latest technological and engineering changes. The free visual check for Corsa owners further demonstrated our commitment to excellent after sales care,” he concluded.
