Qormi ended their commitments in the first phase with a win, but were already sure of their top position and the bonus win in the play offs. It was also their fourth seasonal win over Mellieha.
Qormi started off well, establishing a lead with their treys, but Mellieha came back into contention. Qormi opened up their lead once more and, by the interval, they were leading 34-19.
After the break Mellieha started to get in the picture once again, reducing their deficit but Qormi recovered at the end of the third session to lead 43-32.
The last quarter proved more beneficial to Qormi, with a 19-5 break, as Mellieha were down and out, but they managed a good ending to the match, although well behind Qormi.

Floriana made sure of evading the fourth place leaving Mosta to fill the spot, although both teams still have a match to play.
It was Mosta with their treys who made the first break but Floriana stayed in touch. In the second session Mosta still kept on with their treys, but the Greens managed a good 14-0 run midway through, and this helped them on to a slight 35-33 lead at the interval.
After the break it was still close for some time but Mosta had a good ending to the session, with a 12-1 run and managed a 51-45 lead after three sessions.
The final quarter found both teams clinging to each other and changing leads. It was Saakian's free throw that tied the game, at 63-63, to go into overtime. Floriana dominated the extra sessions to make sure, as Mosta were limited to jus a trey at the very end.

Suns ended their group games' commitments with a win and managed to hop over the fourth place in the table. It was their second seasonal win over Mosta in five outings.
They overcame a difficult start to lead in the first session and then a 10-2 run, with treys in the second quarter, kept them in front.
A couple of hoops at the end of the session helped them to a 33-24 half time lead.
After the interval Mosta's reaction failed to convince and Suns could hold on to their advantage. They were still 49-39 in front after three sessions.
Mosta rallied at the start of the last quarter, going to just a point down, at 52-53, but Suns overcame the hurdle and once more opened up their lead. Mosta's trey at the end was not enough and Suns made their free shots to claim the victory.
