I would like to congratulate The Malta Independent on Sunday for the excellent service it is rendering us by publishing la Caruana Galizia’s words of wisdom!

Our dear Daphne spews out logic and profound insight every time she puts ‘pen to paper’, especially when she talks about her very European attitude towards party politics in Malta!

Last Sunday’s article was a masterpiece talking at one point about how we should all Europeanise our outlook on basically everything and then, a couple of paragraphs below, glorifying Malta’s unique very ‘European’ political system.

At any rate, we all agree that we common people without any connections, friends of friends, parrini or mediators of all sorts, always got a fair deal from the State. Yes, with articles like these a recycling plant will always be kept busy.
