The Nationalist government is once again being given the opportunity to show that it was the government and not the GWU that was elected to lead the country. I do hope and pray that Dr Gonzi does not give in to the GWU’s threats – come what may. If he gives in once he will certainly be carried away by the torrent. Appeasement has never solved any problem. On the contrary, more problems were created.
