The third ranking tournament of the 2004/05 season at the Table Tennis Academy was held recently where a total of over 50 players participated in the various sections.

This tournament saw the introduction of many newcomers in both the Beginners and Intermediate groups and in fact the winner of the Intermediate Group was Patrick Bonnici who has been attending coaching sessions at the Academy only for the past couple of months. In the final match of this group, Patrick met a very determined Jeffrey Darmanin who placed second.

In the Beginners group, Justin Mizzi and Clayton Mangion stood at winner and runner up positions.

The Advanced Group was a much battled out group with many interesting and close matches. Stefan Grech won this group for the second time this season with Thomas Vella as runner up. Third and fourth places were obtained by Matthew Micallef and Daniel Bajada respectively.
