The Dublin-based Montaigne Investment Corporation has welcomed new members of staff to its Malta office. This completes the current staffing requirements and broadens the range of services the corporation offers to its Malta client base.
Nicolette Magri Cremona is joining as the new investment manager. She has been directly involved in the financial services sector for the past five years as director of Epic Financial Services Ltd, where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of clients as well as the day-to-day operations of the company.
Prior to setting up Epic, Nicolette was a consultant at EMCS Ltd where she was involved in various economic, management and EU-related assignments for clients. Nicolette has a broad knowledge of Maltese industry gained through working for the Malta Development Corporation (MDC) where she was actively involved in its marketing efforts in the UK.
Nicolette holds an honours degree in Economics from the University of Malta and a Masters degree in European Studies from the University of Sussex in the UK. She has also obtained the International Investment Advice Certificate (IIAC) from the Securities Institute in London.
Alexandra Mercieca joins Montaigne as the new office manager. Alexandra has worked in office administration for the past 13 years in Malta and also spent a year working in Rome. She is able to speak four languages and has extensive experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.
Alexandra has also attained a number of qualifications in all aspects of office administration, employment, training, and teaching, which she will be using in her new position.
Colin Gregory joins Montaigne as an analyst. His career path has led him from working with Ernst & Young’s Regional Business Centre in Malta to working as a junior partner at Carm. Fenech & Co. and then in a supervisory role with the audit department of KPMG in Malta.
Colin qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant from Nottingham Trent University. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK, and won both the Simpson Scholarship Fund and the Hays Accountancy Personnel Award from the ACCA.
