The Irish Saint Malachi, AD 1139, made prophetic mottos of the Popes. For example, Pope John’s XXIII’s motto was “Pastor et Nauta”. He started travelling outside the Vatican. Pope John Paul I’s was “De Medi Etate Lune”, (“about the age of a moon”), meaning the 33 days of his pontificate.
The late Pope John Paul II’s, was “De Labore Solis”. They could not say what this really meant but later discovered that when he was born in Poland, there was a total eclipse of the sun. And that is what it means.
The motto of the next Pope is “Gloria Olivae” which, translated literally, means “The Glory of the Olive”.
I always wondered what this could mean. But now, after the death of the beloved Pope John Paul II, I had a hunch that it had something to do with the effects of this last papacy. Pope John Paul II dedicated his work to peace among nations, which is already being effective.
The olive means peace. So, the next pope will enjoy the fruits of this papacy with the “Glory of the peace among nations.”
I hope that this will be the meaning of the prophecy.
