Go Mobile and HSBC have signed a collaboration agreement which will see both companies co-operating on a number of services. Go Mobile customers who bank with HSBC will start enjoying the benefits of using the bank’s Mobile Services for their mobile telephony needs while benefiting from free extra talk-time every time they top up.
One of the new services open to all Go Mobile prepaid and HSBC customers is the facility of topping up their mobile accounts via SMS anywhere, anytime. Go Mobile card plan users can simply send an SMS to HSBC on 50619005 if they wish to top up their account by Lm5, or SMS to 50619010 to top up by Lm10.
Prepaid customers who top up their mobile accounts using the above method will benefit from 10 per cent free extra talk-time. This offer is valid when an HSBC customer subscribed to Go Mobile tops up until 17 May. Effected Ready to Go top-ups using HSBC Mobile Services are also available overseas given that a roaming agreement with the foreign mobile operator is in place.
However, the customer should note Go Mobile’s roaming partner in the country visited. Standard SMS roaming charges will also be incurred during top-up. Go Mobile prepaid customers need to be registered to Mobile Services in order to benefit from this top-up service. Customers can register for Mobile Services via HSBC Internet Banking service or by calling at any HSBC branch.
Go Mobile prepaid customers who register for Mobile Services can also receive SMS alerts from HSBC whenever certain banking transactions involving their accounts or credit and debit cards occur.
Prepaid customers who top up their mobile accounts via HSBC Mobile Service will benefit from 10 per cent free extra talk-time. This offer is valid each time an HSBC customer subscribes to Go Mobile top ups until 17 May.
With the agreement signed between Go Mobile and HSBC, Go Mobile prepaid customers can now pay for top-ups made via MyGo or Over The Air (OTA) using a Smart SIM by means of HSBC debit cards as well. Go Mobile prepaid customers can also benefit from a similar offer of 10 per cent free talk-time when topping up via Go Mobile's web portal, MyGo (www.go.com.mt/mygo) and via Smart SIM (Over The Air) until 17 May.
