Malta Enterprise has organised the first-time participation of various Maltese companies at GETEX 05. This event was held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre last month and incorporated Gulf education, training, equipment and technology.

GETEX is the leading regional international exhibition for education, training, technology and supply, with over 470 exhibitors from around 40 countries. In fact, it is considered to be the largest student recruitment show in the Arab world.

The four companies from Malta promoted a range of services including education and training from secondary and tertiary education up to post-graduate courses. The Maltese exhibitors expressed satisfaction at the number of contacts made during the event and numerous requests to enrol for training courses in Malta were received.

Malta Enterprise head of trade promotion Dennis Vella said that the promotion of services is high on this year’s agenda of trade promotion. In addition, there are training and consultancy international events which will be organised for the information and communications technology sector and also for healthcare services.
