In today’s fast-paced life, we are all chasing time.

Family, friends, work … we barely have enough time for even these basic things in life!

I therefore felt moved to put pen to paper, after seeing some volunteers in action during the Caritas Malta car wash.

This activity was held to support the Caritas Malta 21+ club – a support group for lonely youths.

My admiration and respect go to Becky Degaetano, Maria Giuliana Fenech, Josephine Mifsud and Kurt Scicluna, who gave up their Sunday to toil all day in the sun.

Volunteers like these wonderful people and the hundreds of others who daily and consistently give up some of their precious time to help Caritas Malta as well as other organisations, are truly priceless. It is thanks to their dedication that many charities and organisations can carry on with their work in the community.
