Although I am an Australian-Maltese, I was unaware that Malta is the home of some of our buried troops. Gallipoli holds great significance for Australia and Turkey as modern nations. Thank you for acknowledging this day and its importance to us. Malta as a country and people is also held in high regard in Australia! Although, I must say, I am very biased!
